Bio

I am a passionate advocate for women and for reproductive health and wellness for all.

I am a certified Fertility Awareness and Reproductive Health Educator and an active member of the Association of Fertility Awareness Professionals (AFAP). I trained with Sarah Bly at The Well (formerly Grace of the Moon), one of the few teacher training programs recognized by AFAP. I am a DONA-trained doula, studied herbs for women’s health with Jon Carlson, and completed the All-Options 6-week pregnancy counseling workshop.

Before my three sons were born, I had a long career in educational publishing, presenting complex information in accessible and interesting ways. Now, I’m happily applying that experience to my career as a health educator.

Everyone has a right to the basic knowledge of how our reproductive systems work, but key facts and information are often missing from standard health classes and doctor’s office conversations. My mission, and that of my colleagues in the Fertility Awareness field, is to empower people with the information and body awareness so often ignored in our fast-paced, tech-fetishizing culture.

Whatever your goals, whatever your age, I am here to help you make informed decisions and choices. If you don’t see a class that sounds exactly right for you, don’t hesitate to contact me for a free initial phone consult. Where appropriate, I can also refer you to very excellent practitioners of western, Chinese, and naturopathic medicine, as well as massage and other therapies.

I’m excited to meet you!
